Chuck Bretz was born in MacPherson, Kansas on November 7, 1957. He founded this firm in 1999. Mr. Bretz specializes in trial practice, criminal defense, family law, complex personal injury law, felonies, misdemeanors, aggravated traffic, wrongful death, and medical malpractice.
He received his Juris Doctor from University of Illinois in 1982 after graduating summa cum laude from Trinity College with a B.A. in 1979. He has over twenty years of legal experience.
Before founding the firm, Mr. Bretz was a Will County Assistant State’s Attorney from 1982 to 1986 and the Will County First Assistant State’s Attorney from 1992 to 1994.
He is licensed to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Bretz is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Will County Bar Association. |
