Joel P. Murphy was born on November 29, 1978 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Mr. Murphy is an aggressive and experienced trial attorney specializing in the areas of criminal defense, DUI traffic and drivers license reinstatement.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Murphy was an associate at the Law Firm of Tracy, Johnson and Wilson where he focused on civil litigation and was the prosecutor for the Village of Romeoville. Mr. Murphy graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (B.A. 2001) and Southern Illinois at Carbondale School of Law (J.D. 2004) where he received numerous awards as a member of the Moot Court team.
He is a member of the Illinois Stat Bar Association, American Bar Association, Will County Bar Association and the Joliet Noon Lions Club. Mr. Murphy also serves as an arbitrator for the cases assigned to Mandatory Arbitration pursuant to the Illinois Supreme Courts Rules. |
